How this bread box is built -
This bread box is handcrafted of solid Eastern White Pine. It's constructed using durable wood joining techniques that will give you a lifetime of use and enjoyment. We do not use nails or staples.

The finishing process includes sanding, staining, painting, and then distress sanding to give it a worn shabby chic look. Then several coats of water based satin lacquer are applied to protect it for years to come. The inside is finished with mineral oil which is odorless and food safe.
